Rona was an unexceptional middle-aged single parent when a chance remark sparked an interest in sailing and ultimately to her participating in the toughest Round the World Yacht Race combining a lifelong dream to travel with the challenge of a lifetime. Two days later she flew to Canada, to trek the West Coast Trail - one of the World's ten toughest trails. Winning a Round Britain yacht race and dog-sledding in the Arctic for charity led to Rona helping organise the successful Nordkapp Expedition dog-sledding 600k northernmost tip of Europe with temperatures of 30ºC, a trail thought to be impossible.

“Delivered with humour and passion, holding the audience rapt, incorporating powerful generic messages and learning points on the importance of goals and team-work which weren’t over-egged made it a thought-provoking talk, not lecture, and so more accessible to our attendees’.” – Anna Baldwin, HR Manager, The Council of Mortgage Lenders

“STOP BITCHING, START PITCHING”
(No one remembers who came second - Except the guy who came second)

Ian Elliot rose from mail boy to CEO and Chairman of Australia’s biggest ad agency, George Patterson. He’s the most prolific new business winner in the industries history ($250 million over 4 years) with a 78% win record. Ian says that winning has less to do with your offer and more to do with understanding the commercial, personal and psychological needs of the decision makers. “A superior product and compelling value proposition well presented, doesn’t guarantee success. They’re just the ticket to the game. You need to understand all the dynamics of the pitch process”

“As the leader of Sydney’s successful 2000 Olympic Bid Committee, I employed every strategy I could, to craft the winning pitch. But when it comes to pitching, Ian Elliot is ‘The Maestro” His experience in creating winning business pitches is legendary. He understands the science and the art form, to do what it takes to win.” Rod McGeoch CEO Sydney 2000 Olympic Bid Committee.
